Spring Tea and Social June 12th 2 pm McConnell Library, Sydney June is Seniors' Month, so let's celebrate!  Join us for a tea and social, and be entertained by the Brookland Elementary Ukulele Unlimited Senior Ensemble, under the direction of music teacher Susanne Doane.  Be prepared to sing along! Cape Breton University's Tompkins Institute, in collaboration with the St. Michael's Polish Benefit Society, is offering a series of two free language lunches called "Polish Hospitality for Beginners." The New Aberdeen Revitalization Society is hosting a community clean up in the New Aberdeen are of Glace Bay on Saturday, June 15th. We'll be meeting at Warden United Church on 5th street at 9:00am. Gloves and bags are provided by the CBRM. A light lunch will be provided after at Warden United Church.

Cape Breton Motor Madness in support of the Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation is happening on Saturday June 15th, 2019 at the Northside Emera Centre from 10am-4pm. This is an all vehicle show open to anything with a motor. If you would like to register a vehicle please phone 902-794-5402.   Cost for general admission is $2 children under 5 are free.
