KIDS FISHING DERBY
After a 2 year hiatus Port Morien Wildlife Association will hold their annual Free Kids Fishing Derby on Sunday May 29th from 10am - 2 pm at the John Bernard Croak Memorial Park (Beacon Street Dam) in Glace Bay. Prizes in three categories, 7 and under, 8-12 and 13 - 16. Rain or shine. Free hotdogs, drinks and cupcakes. More info PMWA Facebook.

A parade of antique cars and a fleet of boats will leave St. Anne’s Parish in Alder Point at 1:30 pm and make their way to the Alder Point Government Wharf. There will be music, food trucks and fun for all ages. There will also be seafood chowder available at the Alder Point Community Hall during this time.
