Hike the Coxheath Colours & Ceilidh will take place on Saturday, October 19th from 1-4pm. This community event combines the celebration of the fall colours and celtic music while hiking along a beautiful nature trail. A ceilidh in the Coxheath Hills Community Centre rounds off the experience, where you can purchase hot apple cider, tea, and oatcakes. This is a free event. Donations are always appreciated.

The Port Morien Legion, RCL Br. 055, will host a Harvest Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Sunday, October 20th from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Freshly baked muffins, juice, tea and coffee are included. Sunday, October 20th from 12-4:00 the Cape Breton Pagan Society will be putting on a Samhain (Halloween) Market at Brookshaven Hall & Recreation Association. There will be plenty of crafts/vendors & lots of metaphysical goodies as well. There is no admission fee. We will have a 50/50 with half going to a charity that is in need! Hope to see you there!
