There will be a Valentine’s Day Market this Sunday, February 2 from 12-4 at the Italian Hall , 14 Gatto st Dominion. Lots of great vendors and something for everyone on your list. Admission is $2 or a non perishable food item. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase food items distributed to the local food cupboards in the surrounding communities.

Tuesday, Feb. 11 6-7:30pm McConnell Library (Sydney) Join Terry Dwyer ~ scuba diver, author and shipwreck hunter to learn about his adventures as the last officially licensed Treasure Trove hunter to explore off St. Paul’s Island. Terry has many years of diving and marine exploration to his credit and is considered one of the foremost authorities on shipwrecks in Nova Scotia’s waters.
