Enchanted Woods – A Storytelling Walk

‘Enchanted Woods’ A Storytelling Walk Wednesday, August 23rd 6:30 PM, Baille Ard Trail Meet at Terrace St. entrance – near Sherwood Park Jr. High Accompany the Cape Breton Regional Library’s Storyteller-in-Residence Ronald Labelle for an evening story and walk. Participants will listen to a folktale of old while walking along the bubbling brooks and beautiful trails of Baille Ard. Everyone welcome.  Dress for weather and walking.

Ghosts and Legends Walk

The Old Sydney Society Ghost and Legends Walk of the Historic North End Sydney will be held every Thursday night throughout the summer, starting June 29th. Join us for a spine tingling ninety-minute encounter with the city’s restless spirit world. Our tours begin at Historic St. Patrick’s Church Museum (87 Esplanade) at 7:00 PM and ends with a piping hot cup of tea and scones. $13 per person. Group rates and private tours are available. Ben Eoin Yacht Club, 4950 East Bay Hwy, is hosting a celebration of the Grand Opening of the Great Trans Canada Trail, in conjunction with Canada's 150th anniversary.
