New Waterford Community Session

Stories and results from research conducted in our communities will be shared.

On Tuesday, October 24, 2017 - 6:30pm there will be a meeting of SOS(Survivors Of Suicide) Cape Breton at 188 George Street, Sydney, NS Anyone who is a survivor of suicide loss is welcomed to attend these meetings held every 4th Tuesday of the month (except December when there is no meeting).

Halloween Movie Night

October 25, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 11:30 pm

The Christmas Crew is happy to announce that it is planning a Halloween movie night at the Cape Breton Drive Inn on October 21st at dusk. Donations will be accepted at the gate and there will ILLUMINATED bracelets for the youth at no charge. All money donated will be used to provide local families a grocery order at Christmas Time. There will  be a kids costume parade during intermission. The movies will be Hotel Transylvania and the Nightmare Before Christmas. …
