Glace Bay Minor Hockey Tots
In conjunction with Vince Ryan Memorial Hockey Tournament presents The Glace Bay Minor Hockey Tots Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Dominion Rink at 12:30 PM, Free Admission This is the first time Tots have played in the Vince Ryan Tournament in it's 30 year history. A variety concert will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, from 2 to 4 PM at our Lady of Fatima Church 1452 Kings Rd., Sydney River, featuring Aaron Lewis, Sheldon Chant, the Cape Breton Chordsmen, Marilyn McDonald, Ronnie Martin, the Bisson Sisters, Debbie Keating, and Shaun McDonald. Two new Para Ice Hockey programs are set to begin this fall. A "Learn To Skate" sponsored by Easter Seals Nova Scotia for ages 5-16 as well as a Sledge Hockey program sponsored by Glace Bay Minor Hockey for ages 5-18. Details about both programs will be presented during a Town Hall Meeting at Centre 200 on March 30th at 4pm. Both programs are open to youths with disabilities as well as able bodied individuals.
