The East Cape Breton County Community Health Board is sponsoring two free public family skating events during the March Break. One will be hosted at New Waterford District Rink on Monday March 18th 1-3 pm and one at Dominion Rink 1-3 pm March 20th. Please join us for an afternoon of Wellness Activity.

Two new Para Ice Hockey programs are set to begin this fall. A "Learn To Skate" sponsored by Easter Seals Nova Scotia for ages 5-16 as well as a Sledge Hockey program sponsored by Glace Bay Minor Hockey for ages 5-18. Details about both programs will be presented during a Town Hall Meeting at Centre 200 on March 30th at 4pm. Both programs are open to youths with disabilities as well as able bodied individuals.
