Saturday, June 22nd between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. Mira Centre hosts its annual Lobster Supper (eat in or take out).  Cost is $20.00 for Lobster, potato salad, homemade dressing, coleslaw, dessert, etc. You wont find a better deal anywhere and we have some of the best scenery in Cape Breton. We are located on the beautiful Mira River at the bridge in Marion Bridge  

On Sunday, June 23, the community of Cantley Village in Coxheath will be hosting an official Grand Opening for its new accessible playground in Cantley Village Park, and you're invited. The festivities will start at 10:30AM with a Kids Fun Run, and will follow with a free BBQ, cake cutting, dance party and more. All are welcome! The Northside Salute to the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Landing sponsored by the Florence,North Sydney and Sydney Mines Branches of the Royal Canadian Legion will take place at the Emera Center,175 King ST, North Sydney on June 23rd 2019 beginning at 2PM .
