SPRING TEA & SALE sponsored by Louisbourg-Ceilidh Chapter IODE will be held at the Salvation Army Hall, 55 Inglis St, Sydney on Saturday, May 25th from 11:30 to 1:30pm. Come enjoy lunch and shop at the home cooking, book & novelties tables. Admission is $7. Tickets available from IODE members or at the door. Everyone is welcome

Saturday May 25th, the annual dessert and Auction will take place at the United Protestant Church in Sydney River, at 1524 Kings Road. Dessert will be served at 6:30 with live Auction following at 7:30 with Auctioneer Alfie Macleod . In addition there will also be a silent auction table available. Port Morien Wildlife Association will be having a free Kids Fishing Derby, Sunday May 26,2019 start time 10 am, end time 2pm, location Morrison Lake Birch Grove. Prizes in three Categories. 7 Years old and under , 8 - 11 Years old And 12-15 Years old. Also Prize for Biggest Fish and Most Fish. Ages 1 to 16. 16 year olds require a license which is free at local license retailers. All fish caught must be registered by 1pm.
