The Coxheath Hills Wilderness Trail will be hosting its annual "Christmas in the Cabin" on Sunday, December 15th, from 12 noon till 3pm. Hike up to the cabin and enjoy some stories and songs with Paul MacDougall and friends. The fire will be on, and so will the hot apple cider. This is a free event.

11th Annual Memorial Lights Ceremony Town House, 150 Commercial Street, Glace Bay Monday, December 16th, 2019 at 6:00 pm For a minimum donation of $5.00, the name of a loved one will be remembered on our Memorial Tree Drop into Town House by December 12th to make your donation

Friday, December 20th at 7p.m. Train Your Brain continues at the Mira Centre. Meet and greet friends for some friendly competition. There is no charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.

Sydney Mines & District Community Center are having a free family skate on Sat. Dec. 21st from 11am to 12:30 sponsored by the Sydney mines Volunteer Fire Dept. and they will be giving out free hot chocolate.
