Canada Day Motorcade
The Kinsmen Club of New Waterford are organizing our second Canada Day Motorcade and this time it will actually be held on Canada Day. We will be meeting at Colliery Lands Park in New Waterford at 12:15 pm for a 1:00 pm start time. For traffic safety, we have a capacity of 50 vehicles and welcome community participation. The HELP CENTER of the CAPE BRETON GENEALOGY AND HISTORICAL SOCIETY will open for the summer on July 12th. Hours are Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm in the former Bank of Montreal building, 173 Charlotte Street in Sydney. Use of the centre is free.
