Glace Bay Library October 15, 6 – 6:30pm stop on by and make Leaf Monster

Join the EHS Sydney base as they stuff the truck for pets.  This event will be taking place on Saturday, October 18 from 9am-5pm, in the Pet Smart Sydney parking lot at 276 Prince Street.  It is all in support of the Cape Breton SPCA and Coastal k-9.  Sponsored by EHS, Casino Nova Scotia Sydney and PetSmart.

This year’s annual Hike the Coxheath Colours & Ceilidh will be held on Saturday, October 18th, from 1-4 pm. This community event combines the celebration of the fall colours and celtic music while hiking along a beautiful nature trail. A ceilidh in the Coxheath Hills Community Centre rounds off the experience, where you can purchase hot apple cider, tea, and oatcakes and biscuits. This free event is inspired by Cape Breton’s amazing Celtic Colours International Festival.
