Sunrise Service for Peace

St. Mary’s Polish Church in Whitney Pier will host a short sunrise service for peace and release of doves at 6:20 in the morning on Monday, September 1. Everyone is warmly welcome. September 1st marks the solemn 86th anniversary of the invasion of Poland and the start of World War II. Today, as terrible wars drag on around the world, this gathering will be a chance to renew our commitment to peace and to compassion for, and solidarity with, victims of war regardless of where they are.
