The 94-9 The Wave Community Pledge would like to shine its light on the Cape Breton Down Syndrome Society.

Everyone deserves to feel included and valued.

The Cape Breton Down Syndrome Society is a local non profit organization supporting individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and caregivers through social and educational opportunities and building awareness of the many contributions people with Down syndrome make in our communities.

CBDSS works with community groups, employers, service providers, and researchers to advocate for those with intellectual disabilities and create more inclusive environments where everyone feels that they belong

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
