The Cape Breton Regional Municipality says curbside collection of heavy garbage and bulky items will continue this week. Many people affected by the Thanksgiving day flood have been reluctant to toss out damaged items until they can get their losses appraised by their insurance companies. The CBRM tells the Cape Breton Post that heavy items will still be picked up this week and that the municipality will then assess the situation to determine if collection should continue.
