Police are now saying a fire in a small apartment house on Harrison Avenue in Sydney on Wednesday night was suspicious in nature. It’s believed the fire apparently started in a vacant unit of the five unit building shortly before midnight. Three people in other units were forced to evacuate and have since been getting assistance from the Red Cross. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cape Breton Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
