To borrow a phrase from The Big Bang Theory, hundreds of people “got their Geek on” at Cape Breton University on the weekend.

The fans of comic books, fantasy, anime and related pop culture donned costumes to take in the various activities, listening to interviews with different guests, getting autographs.

Organizers estimate 1,500 people took part.

CaperCon committee chair Jacquelin McPhee told the Cape Breton Post it was like three days of Halloween.
