Province wants to formally change Gaming Control Act

The province is proposing a change to the Gaming Control Act to ensure timely responses to licence applications.  It currently says the Nova Scotia Gaming Commission issues gaming licences but the commission no longer exists.  They’re now issued by the executive director of the Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco Division at Service Nova Scotia. This change will formalize the authority.
