Nova Scotia Extends Burn Ban
Nova Scotia Extends Burn Ban
The Department of Natural Resources is extending burning restrictions by a week across the province. Restrictions in Nova Scotia are usually issued from March 15th to October 15th but dry conditions have prompted the province to extend a burn ban until October 22nd. No brush burning or campfires are permitted between 8 a-m and two in the afternoon. A number of provincial parks will also remain open to provide people with access to potable water and shower facilities.
