New Waterford heist

The Midway Taxi office on Plummer Avenue in New Waterford was robbed by an armed man early yesterday morning.

Police say there was a brief struggle before the crook got some cash and fled.

The victim suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention.

The Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
