CBRM floods affected the FD

It wasn’t just homes and usinesses that suffered in the flooding.  The Fire Department has as well.

At least 10 trucks and other pieces of equipment were damaged in the flooding, including one truck worth half a million dollars which may be a write off.

Insurance companies are still assessing the damage.  Dartmouth Dodge has loaned the fire department a pair of trucks and Halifax Fire services has sent a backup aerial truck and bunker gear.
