Atlantic Auditor Generals release ALC report; ALC president/CEO responds

The Auditor Generals of each Atlantic province have released their joint audit of the Atlantic Lottery Corporation.  Governance framework was found insufficient to deal with strategic challenges, not all shareholder governments are providing the required direction expected for a provincially owned Corporation, and not all risks related to a failed and written-off $8 million investment in Geonomics were considered.  You can see the full report at any Atlantic Auditor General website.

Atlantic Lottery Corporation President and CEO Brent Scrimshaw has released a statement about the Atlantic Auditor Generals’ report.  He says tighter controls on travel and hosting are already in place, expense and compensation details for senior leaders are posted online, and company-funded holidays have been eliminated, among other measures.
