Hundreds of NS donors alone needed now by Canadian Blood Services

Canadian Blood Services says over 500 donors are needed right now in Nova Scotia alone – 145 in Halifax alone in the next four weeks.

The organization is also changing guidelines for iron levels, with females needing to wait longer between donations and males needing to pass a slightly stricter hemoglobin test.
