Demolition

17 homes in the St. Peter’s Road area will be demolished, they’re beyond saving after the flood.  Their owners have also all agreed that area should be declared a no development zone with nothing build on it ever again.

CBRM wanted consensus on what should happen to those homes and Mayor Cecil Clarke says all the homeonwers agreed they should not be replaced and the area declared a no build zone.  But, that will also need provincial approval.
