Vehicle-pedestrian collision injures teen

At approximately 7:30 PM last night, Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a MVA, where a vehicle and a pedestrian collided at the intersection of Welton Street and Willow Street in Sydney.

The 16-year-old female pedestrian was transported by EHS to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be serious injuries.

The 43-year-old male motorist of the vehicle did not suffer serious injuries.
