Opposition Tories table Residents’ Bill of Rights
The provincial Tories have tabled legislation that would give seniors the right to live in the same long-term care facility as their spouse. The Residents’ Bill of Rights also includes the right to: be properly sheltered, clothed, groomed, and cared for in a manner consistent with needs; high quality, nutritious meals; and have family and friends around 24 hours a day when very sick or dying.
