The N-L-C-S is tied at a game apiece after the Dodgers blanked the Cubs 1-0.  The Blue Jays are hoping the hometown crowd will help in Toronto tonight after losing the first two games in the A-L-C-S in Celeveland.

In Q-League action, the Screaming Eagles beat Acadie-Bathurst 5-3, the Mooseheads got past Victoriaville 7-3; and the Wildcats lost 2-1 in Shawinigan in Q-League action.

Valley Wildcats lost 6-4 to Amherst in the M-H-L, and the Commandos beat St. Stephen 7-3.

NHL action saw the Canucks shocking the Hurricanes 4-3 in overtime, they came back from a three goal deficit.  Buffalo beat the Oilers 6-2.

In the NFL, the Patriots handled Cincinatti 35-17; and the Texans won the Sunday nighter 26-23 over the Colts.
