NS, NB among areas not meeting salmon regulation requirements: study

A new study says New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are among Canadian and other areas that aren’t meeting salmon regulation requirements.  Gardner Pinfold Consultants has New Brunswick at 45% and Nova Scotia at 64% of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council Salmon Standard.  Newfoundland and Labrador, BC, Maine and Norway also don’t meet minimum requirements for the standard, an internationally recognized guideline for sustainable and socially responsible aquaculture.
