Two Women Dead after Fatal Crash in Colchester County

Two people have died after a fatal head-on crash in Colchester County on Saturday. RCMP say a car and a pick-up truck collided on highway 236 in Old Barns, near Truro, around 2:30pm. The elderly female driver of the car and her female passenger, both from Kennetcook, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pick-up was treated for minor injuries and released.
