Glace Bay Volunteer Fire Department event

The Glace Bay Volunteer Fire Department is planning a flea market to help the community.

It held one in June to help out during the wildfires in Fort McMurray.  Now they want to hold another flea market with proceeds going to the Glace Bay Food Bank.  Firefighter Steven MacNeil told the Cape Breton Post they have the hall and the people power to volunteer.  They felt instead of just volunteering to fight fires there’s so much more they could do for the community.
