Salmon Habitat Restoration Project Completed on Cheticamp River

A three year restoration project on the Cheticamp River has now been completed. The project aimed at improving fish habitat for Atlantic Salmon was undertaken as a partnership between the Cheticamp River Salmon Association and Parks Canada. The Cheitcamp River is one of only two remaining rivers in the province that supports a relatively healthy wild salmon run.
