Potlotek

The Potlotek First Nation is getting some help from other bands and companies.

Residents there are disgusted by the thick, black liquid that has been coming out of their taps.

That prompted Crane Cove Seafoods and Big 8 Beverages to step in and provide four litre bottles water to the reserve near St. Peters.

The province is also stepping up. Premier Stephen McNeil says a long term fix is needed. For now however, portable showers are being brought in. Local hotels and the park are also providing showers.
