Three Cape Breton Police Officers Suspended

Three Cape Breton Regional Police officers have been suspended from active duty but no one is saying why. The Nova Scotia Government Employees Union has confirmed to the Cape Breton Post that Jerome Kelley, Roberta Kelly and Greg Livingstone have all been suspended. Neither the union nor the police force is saying why. There is speculation the suspensions could be related to the trial of Constable Wade Lavin who is accused of impersonating a Staff Sergeant. Testimony in Lavin’s trial wrapped up on Thursday.
