Cape Breton murder case

There was a strange twist in the murder for hire trial of Roderick Joseph Domoslai yesterday, according to the Cape Breton Post.

The Crown prosecutor made a submission to the judge about an extremely unique legal issue but wanted the judge to hear it in private without the defense lawyer present.  The judge only agreed to hear the submission in private after getting a second opinion from another judge in Halifax.

Justice Gregory Warner came out of the meeting saying it was a difficult issue and he needed time to consider it, and set a meeting with the Crown lawyer for 9:00 this morning and court will resume at 9:30.
