NS Tourism Posting Big Numbers

The latest numbers from Tourism Nova Scotia suggest the province welcomed 23-thousand more visitors in July compared to last year. Tourism businesses saw a seven per cent increase in overnight visitors this July compared to last July. That brought the year-to-date total to more than 1.15 million visitors — an increase of eight per cent compared with the same period in 2015. Tourism revenues for the year so far are estimated at 1.3 billion dollars.
