Cape Breton murder case

The defense wanted a delay before opening its case in the murder for hire trial of Roderick Joseph Domoslai charged with hiring someone to kill his ex-wife.

Defense lawyer Ray Kuszelewski asked the judge for more time to find two witnesses and that his kneels were swollen with arthritis.  The crown objected.

The judge said there have been enough delays in this trial already and his witnesses should be ready to take the stand today, although he gave the lawyer the weekend to prepare Domoslai for his testimony Monday.
