A Cape Breton Store’s unusual help wanted ad has resulted in thousands of applications. The Farmers Daughter Country Market in Whycocomagh recently posted an ad on facebook promising two free acres of land for those interested in three year round positions at the business. The owners tell CBC they offered the unusual incentive because they were having a hard time finding year round staff. The Farmers Daughter Market received more than 2-thousand applications within a week of posting the ad.
