Long-term, home care WCB rates going up in 2017

The Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia says long-term and home care rates are going up in 2017.  Long-term assessments are rising 6%, while home care is going up 13%.  The health and social services sector is the province’s biggest, with more than double the injuries of any other.  The fishing industry continues to see great progress with a 16% rate drop in 2017.
