Funding for media travel conference will benefit tourism: Destination CB

Government funding to let media members take in Cape Breton is considered well spent. The Travel Media Association of Canada conference cost $265,000 total, with ACOA, the province, CBRM, Inverness, Richmond and Victoria counties putting up $112,000 of it. Destination Cape Breton says businesses also provided things in-kind, and the exposure and reach we can get will boost tourism.
