Bras’d’or sign

The province says it will fix a highway sign in Bras’d’or that gives the wrong direction but insists other signs in the area all check out.

The Department of Transportation completed a review of highway signage along highway 105 and highway 125 and found just one problem. An exit sign on highway 105 directing motorists onto highway 125 reads west when it should read east. The province says a decal will be used to correct the issue.

While other signs checked out, the province says new signs will be put in place next month to reflect route changes resulting from construction of the new Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal in North Sydney.
