Sydney Farmers Market moving???

The Farmers market wants to move.

Kathy MacCuish, Chair of the Cape Breton Farmers’ Market Co-operative Board, told the Cape Breton Post they are examining their options because limited parking and vendor space in the present location is becoming more of a problem. The building on Keltic Drive also doesn’t have a sign to let people know it’s there. MacCuish also said it’s not a very pleasant place to be…very warm in the summer and extremely cold in the winter. MacCuish wouldn’t say where the new market might be located but noted downtown Sydney wouldn’t be a good fit because of a lack of parking for not only customers but vendors as well.
