DESCRIPTION:For it’s dark as a dungeon…”\nStories and Songs of Miners and Mining at the Cape Breton Miners Museum.\nTues July 30th\, 7 pm\nCape Breton Miners Museum\, 17 Museum St Glace Bay \nThe Cape Breton Regional Library’s new Storyteller-in-Residence\, writer\, musician and storyteller Bill Conall\, has arranged a great evening of storytelling and song for his first official storytelling event!  He will be joined at the Cape Breton Miners Museum\, by two special guests\, author Hugh MacDonald who will talk and sing about his book Trapper Boy\, and miner Vernon Theriault who wrote about his experiences working in the Westray mine and being one of the draegermen involved in the rescue\, in his book Westray: My Journey from Darkness to Light. \nAdmission is free\, and everyone is welcome.
