DESCRIPTION:The Art of Medicine Today May 28th 7pm – 9pm New Dawn Center for Social Innovation “Using the Arts to Enhance Patient Care and Wellbeing” The Art of Medicine\, in its fourth year\, will again present readings from Paul MacDougall’s patient creative writing group Write On! and musical selections from Shelley Allen’s music therapy group\, Silent Thunder. This year\, for the first time\, dance will be introduced\, with Danielle Jessome performing a dance in honor of her father\, Robert Jessome. Other highlights include Dr. Julie Sutherlands talk on Bibliotherapy\, Jason LeFranse’s film about Paula Graham and a performance by music therapist Jill Murphy. No registration required \n
