Whether it’s your first time\, or you’ve participated for years\, we look forward to having you join the movement and make this year’s event inspirational\, memorable\, and bring us closer to a future without breast cancer. \nFor more information\, click here! \n  \nCanadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation partner to improve services for women living with breast cancer \n\nSYDNEY\, N.S – September 14\, 2016.  The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation are excited to announce a unique partnership that will make a difference in the lives of women living with breast cancer in Cape Breton. \nThis year\, fifty percent of funds raised at the annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure will support breast cancer-related services at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre – through the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation. \n“We recognize the need to support women in Cape Breton living with breast cancer\, “ said Jane Parsons\, Executive Director of Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s Atlantic office. “The CIBC Run for the Cure in Cape Breton has always been an important opportunity to raise awareness and funds for this cause. We’re pleased to partner with our friends at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation to ensure patients have access to the services they need.” \nBrad Jacobs\, CEO\, Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation is thrilled with the partnership. \n“Breast cancer is among the top two cancers treated at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre\,” said Jacobs. “Funds raised through this partnership will ensure women living with breast cancer in Cape Breton receive the lymphedema and breast rehabilitation treatment they may need.” \nThis year’s CIBC Run for the Cure will take place on Sunday\, October 2\, 2016 at 10am at Centre 200.
