SUMMARY:Parkinsons' Superwalk
DESCRIPTION:The C.B. East Chapter of the Parkinson Society will be holding their SuperWalk on Sunday Sept. 8th\, starting at the Grand Lake Rd. Fire Hall. Registration will start at 11.00 noon and the actual walk at 1.00 PM. This is a National event that is held on an annual basis to raise funds for service\, advocacy and especially research. Research is of paramount importance in order to find better treatment option for people living with the disease and hopefully someday a cure for this debilitating disease. This is a Progressive disease that can affect anyone. People living with the disease often say that the “unseen” symptoms are often more challenging than the motor symptoms. Over 25 people are diagnosed every day in Canada and this is expected to double by 2031. \nAnyone is welcome to join us on Sept. 8th for an entertaining afternoon along with our Walk and to support the members of our communities suffering with this disease and to help us realize our goal. \n
