DESCRIPTION:Writing Your Life: a different kind of Memoir \nWednesday April 26th 10 am\, McConnell Library\, 50 Falmouth St\, Sydney \nIain Reid is also the author of two non-fiction books: “The Truth About Luck: What I Learned on my Road Trip with Grandma” (2013)\, and “One Bird’s Choice: A Year in the Life of an Overeducated\, Under-employed Twenty-Something Who Moves Back Home” (2010). He will offer a writing workshop on Wednesday morning to explore the many possibilities of mining your own life stories\, with an emphasis on how the undramatic can be a story too. This is a free workshop presented in partnership with CBU Dept of Language and Letters\, the Frye Festival and Canada Council for the Arts.
