Cape Smokey is thrilled to announce a partnership with LAKEWIND SOUND STUDIOS for the SMOKEY SESSIONS: RISING STARS concert\, where Cape Breton’s young musicians perform in two category contests to win a $1\,000 bursary if you’re a High School musician or a recording opportunity for musicians ages 25 and under. Winners will also get the chance to perform at the Labor Day show on August 31st.\nEvent starts at 12pm with Activities include: \nGiant Snakes and Ladders\, Giant Jenga\, Giant Connect Four\, Giant Checkers\, Giant Tic-Tac-Toe\, Sack Races\, Badminton\, Scavenger Hunt\, Frisbee Toss And for the adults don’t miss the washer toss tournament!\nThe concert kicks off at 1 pm and features the best young talent Cape Breton has to offer. As you enjoy the music\, explore the open market featuring local artisans. The day will conclude with all activities wrapping up by 5 pm. \n
