DESCRIPTION:Live Music: Dickey and the Underdog Dogs \nDate: December 12\, 2025 \nTime: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM \nLocation: Whitney Pier Legion \nFood: Hotdogs & Hamburgers \nSpecial Feature: Silent Auction \nJoin us for a night of great music\, good food\, and true Celtic spirit — all in support of our community! \nAll funds / gifts generated will be distributed to all 3 organizations (see below). \n– $10 entry fee \n-The purchase of food \n– Silent Auction and \n– Donations during the event in general. \n– Gift Drop Off \nThe Celtic Crew MC and Celtic Creed RC\, together with our loyal supporters\, have always stood proudly behind our community and the surrounding areas. \nThis year\, the Celtic Family is honoured to host our annual Christmas Fundraiser — supporting three incredible local organizations that continue to make a difference where it matters most. \nThe Christmas Crew \nFounded in 2011\, The Christmas Crew began as a simple family tradition — providing one family in need with a Christmas grocery order. \nOver time\, that single act of kindness grew into something extraordinary. With the help of friends\, family\, and countless generous community members\, The Christmas Crew has now delivered over 1\,000 Christmas grocery orders to families across Glace Bay and surrounding communities. \nEach year\, volunteers gather at Glace Bay High School on the Sunday before Christmas to pack and deliver these grocery orders — spreading warmth\, hope\, and the true spirit of giving. \nCommunity Cares Youth Outreach \nCommunity Cares Youth Outreach is the region’s only non-profit youth development organization dedicated to supporting young adults aged 30 and under. \nTheir mission is to empower youth and families through positive community engagement\, mentorship\, and essential support programs that help build stronger futures. \nYour donations directly fuel these efforts — providing critical resources and real hope to those who need it most. \nWhitney Pier Boys & Girls Club \nThe Whitney Pier Boys & Girls Club offers a safe\, inclusive space where children and teens can learn\, grow\, and thrive. \nThrough after-school programs\, summer camps\, and activities focused on health\, wellness\, and personal development\, the club helps every young person reach their full potential in a caring and supportive environment. \n
